Nothing Rhymes With Pirate

In a crowded, (usually) gay nightclub.. hangin out with a bunch of fluro twats (oh.. and Kit & Radge).. sippin on some sizzurp.. putting my fingers in the air coz I'm the one.. and waiting for Mehdi to start soon.

Instead, our attempt to find the guestlist queue was fruitless.. with Doom telling D that we had to wait in the queue. D doesnt do queues. I was quite surprised that I even got her to wait in it for 20mins. I bought 5mins of it when these 2 huge islander chicks battled past us though the queue to a door. One unlocked it.. the other one walked in, was about to close the door but turned, looked at us in the queue and then fell down. It was mildly amusing.. especially as none of the weedy skinny-jeaned 14yo-esque lads wanted to give a hand in helping her up in fear of being squashed.

I said that I'd reassess if we would stay if I got to the Vodafone sign in 8 mins (midnight) and she agreed. We got pretty goddamn close if the dudes up ahead squished up in the queue! She was pretty edgy because she wasnt going to go after I'd waited for her. And she was feeling sick. And Doom skeezed her at the door - "After all the work I've done for those guys! Bah!"

She reckons it wouldn't have been anywhere near as cool as when he played at Spectrum last year. Something about how these kids are force-fed to like these things through a Modular CD.

My mum scored free tickets from the real estate agents to an advanced movie screening tomorrow night at Rhodes. She was expecting that I'd take someone else, but my sister insisted it would be nice that she came with me. I think we worked out that she hadn't been out to a cinema since she took Eug + Glenda to see Karate Kid II. Hahah! [EDIT - my mistake.. it was Cocktail. HAHAAHAH!]

At the risk of me sounding like the biggest piker known to man.. I am going to have to say a "no-can-do" to BG on Friday. Well, I could do.. if I wanted to walk in after 11pm and walk out before I meet my pumpkin doom. And Tash's suggestions of no socks? I wouldn't last 5mins with all those stiletto-foot-stomping show ponies.

Yes my friends.. doing a 9-6 shift on a Saturday sucks butros butros bawls.

My vote is to change locale to Saturday @ Laundry.
Theres some dude called Jeff Drake and Elliot Eastwick playing.. but you'll also get all your BangGang goodness with Ajax (in the Cave! :-0) and Gus Da Hoodrat & Jamie Doom.

And you can still dress up with whatever outfits y'all had planned.
