The day started out well planned.. I had woken up and cleaned and been down to Rhodes to do some shopping (I dont think I mind that Coles now!) and had organised with Adam that I was to drop past the city to use my allowance before it ran out.

Everything was smooth.. had picked up Tash and scored a great carpark right on the corner of York + Market. We got up to level 1 to find that Moreen was there.. and then she tells us that Angela (the manager at Pitt) wont let us buy anything till after 3. So that was 45mins to waste, which means I would definately miss the start of Phoenix at 315.

Moreen and I went down at about 3 to be snarled at and told to come back AFTER 3. She was serving 1 customer and everyone else was just standing around or folding. So we got real annoyed and went back upstairs to vent at Adam and left.

So the one act that I really really wanted to see, Phoenix, I missed. Well, I saw heard most of it when we were walking around the fence to find the entrance and got inside the gates to hear the last 2 songs (which I'm having a bit of a mind blank at the moment to what they were).

We went for a walk around to check it out. There were queues everywhere! 100m long queues to the bar, queues to the toilets, even the biggest queue for the turkish gozleme you'd think it was for proffitjes. So we had to eat $5 hotdogs and $4 cups of lukewarm chips. The bonus being you could put as much sauce on them as you wanted.

Saw most of New Young Pony Club and then went to meet Skooge & Nathan and the red mobile thing. Easy! Its a shame that Morges couldn't grasp the meeting point thing as we didnt see her all day. Moved over for Gnarls Barkley in their tennis outfits and zig-zagged back over to the Other Stage for the Rapture. Everything going well. Met back up with Skooge again for Groove Armada, but we bumped into Radge & Ryan so we went to check out the little red tent.. who was pumping out Bang Gang.. so we went back to This Stage (via Groove Armada 'Easy'!) to see Beck who was running late so we went back to see Kitsune because it was warm in there (via Groove Armada ' At the River'!) and then back out to see Groove Armada ('Superstylin'!) and Beck doing some puppets and then over to get amongst it to 2manyDJs.

Phew.
That was pretty epic.

The Pixies were still going when we walked out of 2manyDJs. And so was Pet Shop Boys, but we figured that by the time we walked over there, it'd all be over. So we went home. The end.
