Never been to one of these parties.. and no better excuse to check it out than a visitor from Ed Banger. (Even though it was a last minute 'push' effort.. which resulted in parking fine!)

I likened it to a Bang Gang.. before it went all MoS and mainstream. Tiny, gritty club.. cool kids, older kids, ties, cardigans. Linda (of fri arvo FBi fame) was playing lots of likeable tunes. Mehdi came on around 1230. Here's what I gheyly made notes of:

He played "Aint No Mountain High Enough" as his final track. Classic.

Air Punch
The Air Punch© is now the new winning dance move, it seems. Totally pwnz the BG-Dance. Haha! We're takin it to the streetz.

She sings, kinda dances and DJs.

Ghey notes again:

She sung 'Perfect' to her backing record as a finale.. and took a swig of water from her bottle and then spat it at the crowd. DJs are not Rockstars, indeed.

Kinda similar vibe to Mehdi.. although I preferred his set, but hers was still dancey and heaps fun! Have yet to hit up ITM to see how she went at Kink afterwards (she would've been about 1/2hr late). Thanks (again!) to [info]glassandahalf for swinging those tickets!

We have a chandelier in the study (which is actually really nice, but out of place) and then the stairway one. Very hard to upkeep.. although I s'pose you'll have a maid! ;o)

Its funny you mentioned it because i was looking through my other pics to see if there was a better view.. but when I was standing there, I looked up and thought, I should take a photo of that.. but didnt.

Next time I think that.. I should actually do it.

Yeah, those songs may sound old, but a lot of them were remixes that I'd never heard of. And I like hearing songs i know.. so you can coordinate the right dancemoves and sing a few lines. Haha.

I'm used to it being around the 130 mark.
Getting it under that is remarkable.

And I always buy my petrol on tues night.. because thats when its always cheaper. Even the guy at one of the 3 stations I frequent recognises me as the girl who comes every Tues
